Mobile Self Storage: Here we come Eccles, Monton & Worsley…

Sometimes running a Mobile Self-Storage company can be truly fascinating, (no, really). As you all know by now, we’ve provided business and domestic customers throughout Manchester with storage solutions for years. Though we’re constantly in and out of Chorlton, Didsbury and Urmston, the smaller provincial towns such as Worsley, Eccles and Swinton has long eluded our reach.

So for the last few weeks, we’ve been making in-roads marketing in these areas. After all, our Mobile Self-Storage Units are ideal and we’ll happily deliver one (or two) to Worsley, Monton, Swinton and/or Eccles. Just by merely being in these areas, we can start the locals realising that traditional self-storage operates a system which is riddled with problems and is time consuming and then some!

We began our quest in Eccles one Monday morning when our self storage manager and assistance manager took the the streets armed with business cards and charm. As always, estate agents are our allies as they are usually perfectly positioned to recommend our storage service when a customer’s house sale has fallen through, for example.

The following day, our company director accompanied the assistant manager to shout about our mobile self-storage service to residents in Monton and later Worsley. A real sense of achievement was created when our Twitter feeds (obviously mentioning #Worsley and #Eccles) began being retweeted by local businesses too.

A couple of days after that, our General Manager was taken to lunch by the director to none other than The Eccles Cross. Needless to say, our ‘Storage’ beer mats are now on every table in the Public house after the landlady agreed to have some on her tables at no cost to her whatsoever.

So this leads us to today.. We continue our quest in Worsley, Monton and Eccles ensuring as many people know about out self storage service for home and business. Not only that, but upon a ‘referral’ booking with us, the referrer gets £25 worth of Amazon, John Lewis or iTunes gift vouchers. Can’t be bad…eh?
